Abstract
The history of seismic activity is not known. The architectural heritage erased during an earthquake is no memory for the future. The contribution presents the results of research in the field of architecture in Italy after the earthquakes, from the end of the eighteenth century. Interesting knowledge of earthquake resistant techniques and patents.
